Predator offers performance pool tables that deliver the ULTIMATE PLAYING EXPERIENCE, whether you are a recreational, league or professional player. Our pool tables and carom tables feature the most consistent, solid, and ergonomic play giving players the confidence to play their best game, no holds barred.
A superior pool table needs to provide a True and Accurate Roll to deliver premium playing conditions
Several factors impact the quality of the roll:
A STABLE FRAME AND
LEGS
to prevent the table from moving;
A FLAT SLATE
BED
that does not warp;
CONSISTENT CUSHIONS
for a
true
rebound against the rails.
Predator pool tables have been carefully designed with every detail in mind to provide the very best playing conditions, including superior frames, high-quality slate, Pro-Speed rubber cushions, and high-performance cloth. The end result are the best playing pool tables on the market, with a modern and contemporary look that will make your room look modern and your table play great.
We offer two pool table sizes:a 9 ft. table designed for large rooms and the 7 ft. premier pool table for smaller rooms or less playing space.
Our 7 ft. table is the standard size for pool tables. This same table is used by league organizations as well as championship tournaments.
If you are wondering what pool tables professional players use, Predator tables are put to the test by professional players and league players around the world. The Predator Apex 9-Foot professional pool table is the official table of the Predator Pro Billiard Series, and the Predator Apex 7-Foot Premier League Edition pool table is the official table of the CSI Leagues, including the BCA Pool League, and the USA Pool League and is used at state championship events and at the CSI Expo in Las Vegas.
Regulation size refers to the ratio of the length relative to the width of a pool table, which is a ratio of 2-to-1. It means that the length of the playing field should be twice its width. Since billiards is a game of geometry and angles, this ratio is important to be able to calculate angles while you play. And yes, Predator 9ft and 7ft length pool tables are compliant with regulations sizes. Playing pool on our tables gives the ultimate experience right in your home.
All of our tables come standard equipped with Arcadia Reserve performance cloth. You can however change the pool table felt color when you get your table installed or refelted. You simply need to order the spare cloth in the color that you would like to match your interior.
Our 7ft and 9ft pool table height is adjustable with leg levelers and can range from 31 to 33 inches tall.
Yes, the Predator APEX 9-foot Pro pool table is a professional-sized billiard table. It is the pool table that is the most used in professional competitions worldwide: it is the official table of the World-8-Ball Championship, the World 10-Ball Championship, as well as the Predator Pro Billiard Series pro tournaments. It is tournament tested and no matter the game you play our tables are 100% ready for any professional to practice for tournaments or just have a great game with friends and family.
The weight of Predator pool tables varies depending on the size and frame construction. Our 7-foot APEX Premier League edition tables weight around 560 pounds, while our 9-foot APEX Pro pool table weights around 1200 pounds. The legs should not damage the flooring but if you have wood flooring it would be best to add a carpet around the table to protect the floor from balls falling off the table.
A drop pocket table is when the ball drops in the pocket upon pocketing and remains in the pocket until the end of the game. Our 9ft APEX Pro tables are drop pocket. A ball return table has an internal system to return the balls to the racking side of the table. When the ball is pocketed, it travels through the inside of the table and then returns to ball return box where all the balls can easily be collected for the next rack. Our 7ft Apex tables are equipped with a ball return system.
